Privacy is a big concern these days. Specially after  the  recent scandal regarding Facebook’s data leak everyone is trying to make it secure.

But we can take some necessary measures to keep our data safe in Facebook.

In this post I will share  6  facebook security  tips you can implement right now to strengthen your facebook account.

So let’s start.

#1 BANK Account Number

Never sgare or maention any bank account number, statement details in your facebook accoubt. If you by chance has mentioned it earlier DELETE it immediately.

Hackers and data thieves are always in search for these sensitive financial items which they can often misuse.

#2 Personal Photos

Don’t upload any personal images which you think can be misused,This doesn’t mean you can’t upload your birthday celebration pics which you want to share with your friends,But always draw a line for your privacy.

#3  The Date of Birth

Don’t disclose your original birthdate in your facebook profile as it can be misused in many ways.Hackers can gain access of your sensitive information like bank accounts, your address just using your birthdate. So beware!

DELETE it now if you have mentioned that.

#4 Phone Number

If you have mentioned your phone number, then DELETE it now as it can be used to gain sensitive information about you.As Aadhar car is now linked with your phone number,it is risky to display it in the public forum .

So better to remove this now!

#5 Remove Random friend requests

This is an old but still effective tip.Don’t ever accept any friend request from any unknown person. If you have accepeted such requests it is time to remove them from your list.

Who knows they are not monitoring and spying your activities .
